LONG BEACH’S RETRO ROW (East 4th Street) TO HOST SECOND ANNUAL “POUR on 4th” EVENT ON Saturday, OCTOBER 15th  from 2-6pm


October 15, 2016-   Long Beach, Calif. – 4th Street locally-owned restaurants and retailers will open their doors to welcome the neighborhood to a “Happy Hour” celebration on Saturday, October 15th. Multiple 4th Street Businesses Invite Long Beach Community to an afternoon of Food, Beer, Wine and Live Music to Celebrate the Unique Area Affectionately Dubbed “Retro Row”. The second annual ticketed event, fondly titled “POUR on 4th”, will take place 2-6pm and is open to the public.

Tickets include a wristband and sampling glass per person to indulge in free tastings from 20+ craft breweries, boutique wineries and cider houses. Participating restaurants on the street will be offering $4-6 food specials to complement the tasty sips being enjoyed from business to business. Local artists will be performing at various locations along 4th Street.

Participating businesses include eateries Restauration, Portfolio Coffeehouse, MVPs, Kafe Neo, Lola’s, Pike Bar, P3, Aji and several more. Retailers include everything from Casa de Luxe to favorites such as Meow all the way to Seventh Wave Surf Shop (and of course including your’s truly, Vintage Galeria). Additional retailers and restaurants are listed on the event website.

This year, sponsoring partners from Southern California include Garber Wines, San Antonio Wines, Titan Wines, Ballast Point, 2Towns cider, Winebow, Epic Wines, and more.

“After such a great turn out last year we are excited to bring even more Southern California breweries and worldly family-owned wineries to 4th street,” said Dana Robertson, owner of Restauration. “Our neighborhood is fun, unique and diverse. What better way to celebrate Retro Row than with craft beers, wines and music that share that reflect the same values.”

Proceeds from "POUR on 4th" will go towards the commission of two murals painted by David Van Patten, as well as sidewalk stencil art and other beautification of the corridor.
